We haven't been having too much of a winter lately, so I thought I could survive the rest of the season getting by by just wearing a little lightweight baseball jacket and a thrifted wool coat that I've outgrown. I was wrong. I've been sick about 3 times in the past 2 months so I figured I should grow up and buy a real coat. I got lucky, because this awesome wool coat from Urban was on sale for only $39! I love patch pockets on coats, jackets, and blazers, but this coat is even more special because the sleeves are made from pony hair. It feels amazing, looks great, and definitely keeps me warm with this schizophrenic winter. You're going to be seeing a lot more of this gem in future posts.

My personal style is always evolving and I really enjoy trying out new and different looks. These days, I'm really into more casual and sporty looks. I've taken a nod to pieces that are a little bit more athletic than what I normally go for, and I'm having fun mixing them up with items in my wardrobe that contrast them. Trying new things when it comes to fashion has always been one of my favorite parts about discovering my personal style. I believe people should never be tied down or committed to just one certain look, because after awhile, you just become boring and expected. Fashion is fun, so try something different the next time you go shopping!
Photographer Fabio Abecassis shot an editorial exclusively for The Fashionisto back in December. Model Ethan is styled by Riccardo Linarello in pieces from the recent Calvin Klein collection. Naturally, I love/want everything.
We shall return, one day from Full/Frame/Figure on Vimeo.
So I'm back...like for real this time. I know it's been more than half a year since my last post, but I've been so busy since. Instead of explaining everything myself, I'll let the following photos give you a little insight as to what's been going on in my life. You'll also notice how my style has changed in just a few short months as well.
These are just a few pics, but be sure to follow me on Instagram to see everything. So glad to be back, and thanks to everyone whose been following STREET SOPHISTICATO!
