First Snow

(Poncho: Beacon's Closet NYC, Fur Stole and Boots: H&M, Riding Pants: American Apparel, Bag: Baggu from Need Supply Co.)

So it snowed yesterday...the first official snow of the season. Remember all of those nearly 70 degree days we were having earlier in the winter? All of that changed yesterday when around noon, all of Richmond began to be covered in snow.

I hate snow.

So when I realized that it was sticking, my mood went totally downhill (and not to mention I was already having a shitty weekend with family news), and I was going to be damned if I was going to be crippled by this freak snow storm.
But when I woke up this morning, the sun was shining, and nearly most of the snow was gone! I was so happy because I had so much to do today. After I got back home this evening before the sun went down, I had the chance to snap a few pics in this awesome poncho that I got as a birthday/xmas gift. I never get to wear it because it's usually 60 degrees, so this was the only positive thing about this weekend and this stupid snow.
Today was also the debut of my new bag I got. I've been needing a new grocery, shopping bag of sorts for awhile now since I've gotten tired of all my other ones. I like that it's neon pink, and I call it my "Pre Cambridge Satchel Bag". The Fluoro has been on my wishlist forever. And until I actually get around to purchasing it, this baby is gonna have to do. All-in-all, it was a good end to a very stressful and overwhelming week(end).

Lost Photos: VA Beach Spring 2011

(Tank, Backpack, and Sunglasses: American Apparel, Trunks: found them, Loafers: Bass, Cardigan: Lacoste)

Jc and I went to VA Beach sometime last year, and these pictures never made it into the world wide web. Now is their debut. I remember we went on this trip on a whim, and it was great to get away for an afternoon. I personally hate the beach. But I ended up having an okay time relaxing and soaking up some sun (which is probably the last thing I need). Overall, it was a fun day, but getting back was no fun at all. No lie, it took nearly 3 hours to get back to Richmond because of traffic. No thanks.

Guess

(Shirt: Vintage Guess, Pants and Socks: American Apparel, Shoes: TUK, Jacket: Thrifted (was Jc's))

Another nice spring-like winter day in RVA. Ran a few errands today on my day off, and I thought it would be nice to showcase this awesome vintage Guess shirt that I picked up last week while thrifting. The pattern is so great, and so Guess. The only critique I have for this shirt is that I wish it were silk, and not a very stiff cotton. But it's still fresh, nonetheless.
