I'm back!

(Shirt: DIY, Necklace: XXI, Sandals: H&M, Clutch: Target, Shorts and American Apparel, Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters...and you already know where the bracelets are from!)

It's been quite awhile since my last outfit post, and I wish I could say that the reason why I haven't posted is because I've been so busy...I can't even do that. I've just been really lazy, uninspired, and hating all my clothes lately. It's been so hot in Richmond, that I get stuck wearing the same tank and shorts everyday, so I haven't had the energy to get creative with my outfits. I also came to the conclusion that I have no summer clothes! I own everything in the world, I'm saying the craziest shit, but no t-shirts, basic shorts, or just casual wear. I managed to put this outfit together, despite the heat. It's simple, not too many layers, but still very me, which is the most important. No matter the temperature, I will always remain true to my aesthetic...even if it is a little crazy.

Screw casual clothes!

206 N. Shields

Button up: Ralph Lauren, Polka Dot Tee: Forever XI, Trousers: Levis, Hat: Pendelton, Bag: American Apparel, Bracelet: Scott Osterbind

I've been in Richmond for nearly 6 years, and I realized that I've never been to Shields Market before. So yesterday, Jc and I decided to visit Shields and take a look around. As soon as we approached the market, I knew that I was going to love it. Shields Market doesn't seem like a real place to me..like something on a movie set. It's like a little country store, grocery store, deli, and everything in between...it's perfect.

We picked up a few sodas and sat outside of the market and enjoyed the somewhat nice weather. It was nice to get away from the VCU area for a bit, and explore something new. Although Shields is only a 5 min drive from my house, it felt as if it was millions of miles away because it so tranquil, laid back, and was exactly what I needed after such a busy week(end).

The 'Dekota' by Scott Osterbind.

If you're an avid reader of Street Sophisticato (or occasionally stop by), you know that I'm usually sporting one of many of my bead bracelets made by my friend Scott Osterbind. I love all of his designs, and am always really excited when he has new stuff. Well, I am honored, and super stoked, to introduce the 'Dekota' bead bracelet! This is a creation by Scott, named after yours truly, featuring a single black skull bead strung on stretch cord with 8mm magnetic black beads (this is the one I happen to be wearing in the post Riverside). This bracelet is definitely me personified, and happens to be my favorite one. At a price of only $23, 'Dekota' is a steal, and you can now take me with you wherever you go!

Check out Scott's other bracelets, and be sure to snag yours while you can because they're all so haute!
